Fundraiser Date Set

Sunday, September 13, has been set for the Jesus Jam fundraiser. We will be offering an enchilada platter which will include, enchiladas, rice, refried beans, salad, chips & salsa and dessert, for $8.50. This will be a noon, take out only. The meals may be picked up at the Puddin'n Pie Building (the old Smith Drug building). Watch the Munday Courier for details. We will be sending a form to the different churches in town to get an approximate count for planning purposes. Also, we will be sending out order forms for Jesus Jam t-shirts. The details will be on the forms.

Summer is here...and it is hot! But, by the next committee meeting, August will be halfway over!

Our next committee meeting is set for Tuesday, August 11 at 6pm at the Community Bldg. Since time is creeping up on us pretty fast, WE NEED ALL MEMBERS TO ATTEND THIS COMMITTEE MEETING.
We have a long list of bands and vendors signed up. The day is coming together to be an awesome day of praise and worship!! Thanks everyone!!
We still have room for more vendors, so please sign up as soon as possible.
We would be totally blessed if anyone feels lead to make a donation to this event. We will be planning a fund raiser, but we do not have any definite plans set for this as of yet.
We are still very excited about this upcoming event, and hope you are as well!

Attention Committee Members

The next Jesus Jam Committee Meeting is scheduled for July 16th at the Goree Community Building at 6pm. The letters have been drafted for the vendors and the churches.
Also, the Goree Going for Greatness Group are hard at work on getting the t-shirts designed and ready to print. Thanks girls....!
Jimmy and Kevin report that six bands have been signed to perform...more have been contacted and we are anxiously awaiting the report at the next meeting.
We have one volunteer willing to help with the costumes for the "Kingdom" play....do need more. If anyone is interested, PLEASE contact us. We welcome ALL SUPPORT AND HELP!
The time has been set for 10 am to 10 pm. This is going to be such a GREAT DAY!! As time comes closer....our excitement is growing!! We hope you catch it!!

We're Hard At Work!

The Jesus Jam Committee met this week and things are looking great! We already have 6 bands wanting to participate. The time has been set for 10 am to 10 pm. Anyone that has a P&W band or if you are an individual or group that would like to participate, please contact us!
Booths are available for $20. We are encouraging any area business or individual that would like to be a vendor for this event to contact us as soon as possible. Our list is growing daily. Vendors for merchandise and food are welcome.
If you would like to volunteer to assist with the Jesus Jam, please contact us. We want this to be an area project and bring as many different churches together as possible.

Goree is Having a Jesus Jam!

God is on the move in Goree, TX!

We are planning a Jesus Jam on October 3, 2009.

Plans are for a full day of Praise and Worship music. We are encouraging participation from all surrounding communities, all Churches and all age groups. If you have a group in your church that is interested in participating, we welcome you to contact us.

Also, we will be needing vendors (merchandise and food) for the day. Remember, this is a Christian event....no inappropriate materials. Any interested vendors should contact Caroline at 940-203-0507 or send an email to victorandcaroline@yahoo.com or gbdecker@srcaccess.net.

We have a committee working on this project and WE ARE PUMPED!
We hope you all get as excited about this as we are. This will be a full day to give our praise and worship to Our Lord. There will also be a play about "The Kingdom" during the day.
